    Description

      it would be useful if the build system could automatically fetch missing dependencies.

      this would be certainly implemented by module providers which use package managers, both ones aimed at library distribution (e.g., conan and vcpkg) and traditional ones like dpkg and rpm.

      this task is complementary to QBS-1607, which is about internal dependencies.

      note that some packages may be available only as source code, in which case there is actually overlap with QBS-1607 and QBS-282.
