qt4-webkit 4.6.2 opens the maemo5 network dialog multiple times when a Qt widget is started

On N900 set the Internet connection to "Always ask"
Install WikiHow from the public Ovi Store for N900.
Disconnect from the network.

Start WikiHow and the "Select Connection" dialog appears 3 to 5 times.

Each time the same valid network connection is selected it quickly reappears. It seems that the 3 to 5 images for WikiHow are loaded from the web and the text for the page is stored locally on the device. For each image to be downloaded the network dialog reappears.

This problem does not happen when the network connection is active before starting the widget.
This behavior is not seen with a web browser when using "Always ask" for the network connection.
