Several examples/demos aren't installed

Several examples and demos aren't installed.

For example, in my case I'm using Linux. I've taken the pre-release RC package, configured it with a -prefix, and attached the (slightly stripped of useless files) directory listing diffs of the examples/demos from the build directory, and the install directory.

Some make sense to not be installed - but many seem to just be mistakes.
