QListWidget forgets selection if it is not active item

Hi Folks,
I have a very strange issue: my QListWidget forgets the selected item if it is not the active control anymore. This leads to the selected items array being zero, which makes finding the selected icon impossible.

I have tried to demonstrate it in the attached video (forget the first try) - you see that the moment I push the button below the list, the selection is forgotten.

AFAIK, this is a new bug which was not around on Qt 4.6.2.
