    • Ubuntu Linux 10.04 desktop with Qt for Symbian 4..70 (installed using GNUPOC 1.17) plus Qt Mobility 1.0.2. A Nokia 5800 XpressMusic device was used for testing.

    Description

When using Qt for Symbian 4.7.0, if the "ICON" statement is set on the project's .pro file, the .sis install procedure fails with a "General OS-related error", possibly due to an erroneous permission set for the generated .mif file. Please see attached a simple example project with the "ICON" statement set, causing the error. If that line is commented, then the install procedure of the .sis file is successful.
