word tracker off after scrolling

using qt from qt.git/4.7 commit 344b4ab658a03d81bbdb7bb5f74b2b5c8bd517e8

1. make a qml file with plain qml textinput element
2. fill up text field with words - note that word tracker correctly tracks end
of words
3. continue typing so that text field scrolls

after scrolling, tracker is incorrectly positioned - seemingly one to the left
of where it should be - this is the similar on libmeegotouch (though not quite
as far off the end of the line IMO)

4. tap 'space' and then tap somewhere in the middle of the visible text field
5. type and notice word tracker is way off position
