wigglytext.qml does not behave correctly in qmlscene

Using qmlviewer the examples/declarative/animation/behaviors/wigglytext.qml animates characters following the dragged character in a slow, smooth manner.
In qmlscene, the same file shows no animation - all characters expected to animate appear to move as one entity.
