Qt Quick 3D model_viewer demo does not work properly

    Description

      When the modelviewer example runs it briefly flashes a set of on-screen controls but then they become invisible.

      The result is that you cannot activate the functionality of the app.

      Additionally it looks as though the default models are not oriented correctly.
