Opening symbol menu while typing with prediction on causes issues

Open a Qt application with text input widget (e.g. Wiggly).
Ensure that T9 is active.
Type a word (e.g. "Test").
Press "Sym" key.
Do not select anything from symbol menu, but close it with green tick button.

==> "Test" is committed to the input widget (since input widget loses focus when sub-window of AVKON FEP opens).
==> "Test" is no longer underlined.

Type another character.

==> "Test" + "Test" + <character> is visible on the input widget
