It would be really helpful to have a global set for the default ParsingMode used when constructing a QUrl

    Description

      When constructing a QUrl, the input is treated with a ParsingMode. By default, it would be QUrl::TolerantMode. In case of wanting to use the optional QUrl::StrictMode, it has to be explicitly passed as argument to the few functions accepting it.

      It would be great to be able to set in a global scope the ParsingMode to be used by default when constructing any new QUrl.
