Focus does not return to application with embedded top level widget

When an application uses embedded top level widget such as,
a media player with QDirectPainter embedded with QWSEmbedWidget widget,
after any dialog executed with the keyboard focus does not return to application.

It appears that that the embedded direct painter surface receives the focus, and user can not change the focus on devices without touchscreen/mouse.
