Example QtQuick apps broken on OSX

The example applications shown in Qt Examples and Demos launcher that are implemented with QtQuick cannot be started at all on OSX with Qt 4.8.0. Nothing happens when you press "launch" button on qtdemo. Try for example Developer/Applications/Qt/qtdemo -> Demonstrations -> Flickr Client or SameGame.

Note:

• QtDemo applications implemented with Qt work fine
• If you compile a QML demo app yourself, it works fine (tried with for example demos/declarative/samegame & flickr)
• It seems the .app files for the QML demo applications are missing; check for example /Developer/Examples/Qt/Demos/declarative/flickr after the installation of Qt 4.8.0
