    Description

      This task links to all tasks needed to be resolved for Qt Essentials modules before we can release the Qt 5.0.0 beta.

      Please link all beta-related tasks to this issue. Acceptable tasks are:

      • security issues
      • legal issues
      • compile fixes
      • approved source-compatibility breaks with Qt 4.8 APIs (must be approved by Lars)
      • approved source-compatibility breaks for new Qt 5 APIs (must be approved by module maintainer)
      • approved binary-compatibility breaks (must be approved by module maintainer)
      • regressions from Qt 4
      • severe bugs in new Qt 5 functionality (e.g. crashes, hangs, data loss)
