AnimatedSprite - changing frame rate control values only takes effect on animation loop

Details

    Description

      • Run the attached qml
      • Bring the FPS down to -1 with the right hand FPS controls
      • With each decrease the animation slows slightly
      • The Rate field will show Timer, the sprite will be animating quickly
      • Push the FPS back up to about 10
      • The indicated FPS will be 10, but the sprite will be animating at about 1fps, until the animation completes
      • Press frameSync
      • Again the effect only occurs on the next loop

      Decreasing the value takes effect immediately, increasing does not.
