    Description

      The linux udlfb (displaylink) driver can detect screen updates using both fb_defio and damage reports. The attached patch provides some (initial) support for using the damage reporting. It also makes it possible to stop using the fb_defio way, which in my experience has been (known) buggy for a long time resulting in lines of frozen pixels etc. The patch was created on qt 4.8.0.
