    Description

      Device: 5800
      Firmware version: V 40.0.001 RnD
      Release: qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.6.0-snapshot-20091103.zip
      Platform: ARMV5 UREL
      Compiler used: ARM/Thumb C/C++ Compiler, RVCT2.2 [Build 686]
      Application: Mediaplayer demo
      Launched from: Application launcher

      Because both the "file open" and "settings" dialogs cover most of the screen, it is not a good user experience for video playback to continue when they are popped up. Since (at least on the 5800) the video stack does not appear to automatically pause video in response to a dialog being drawn on top of the video region (which it should know about via a DSA abort), the only way to fix this is to modify the application.

      Note that the video should be paused in this scenario only when the "small screen" flag is set.
