Description
Passing along a bug/feature request from a Carbide.c++ user. Carbide.c++ uses the Eclipse integration plugins
https://xdabug001.ext.nokia.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10403
I'm developing a QT project that contains an exe project and a few dll
projects. They all have their own pro file and there is also one common pri
file. Whenever I add a new source file or rename an existing file a dialog pops
up in Carbide saying that it wants to help me by updating the pro/pri file. I
tried it once and it was far from helpful. I want to maintain my project files
in an easy-to-understand condition so I want to have comments in there and I
want to keep the format clear. So I don't want any automatic tool to go wild
and reformat it. I want to be able to disable this automatic updating because
now I have to keep hitting cancel when I make changes to the file system and
multiple dialogs pop up about it. This is not helping us, its getting in the
way.
