    Description

When running a Qt on N900, the symbols input box does not open in QLineEdit and other text input widgets, when pressing the two keys (blue arrow + sym/ctrl). So I cannot enter any special characters to these widgets when the virtual keyboard is disabled. Virtual kb itself works just fine with the text widgets.

I asked about this in maemo.org forums and someone reported this did work in 4.5 (I guess 4.5.3 was the default version on maemo).
I'm using 4.6 beta 1 now. This issue was also in 4.6. TP2.

I'm new to Qt so there is a chance this could also be a user error. If there is some parameter I need to set, please let me know and maybe a good idea would be to add that to the examples.

How to repeat (my steps exactly):
-Start GUI project in Qt creator
-using the form editor, add text input widgets
      -compile in sdk
      -run in N900

My keyboard layout is Finnish, but changing that to English did not help.
