BTW: this is the newest version available as .deb pkg for eee pc with standard xandros (I could install newer version of gstreamer from sources)

Description

with old libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-dev qt's configure says it can build phonon, but then compilation breaks with error

qt-git/src/3rdparty/phonon/gstreamer/mediaobject.cpp:19:41: 
        error: gst/pbutils/install-plugins.h: No such file or directory

I think, if the dependency on these files cannot be removed, then configure should check version of libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-dev and require high enough version before trying to build phonon.
