Wrong positions generated in qml code for objects placed on visual design canvas

Create new "Qt Quick Application" ... shows "Hello World", good.

Select "Design" and drag a button underneath the text "Hello World".

Press Run and QML code gets a negative X value and is nowhere near the text box, let alone under it.
