    Description

I reported this issue for beta (1.3.83) and it was said to be fixed in -rc, but today I've tested this against newly released 2.0.0 and the problem is still there.

This is a cloned QTCREATORBUG-1360 – there doesn't seem any way to reopen an existing issue. The text of the original issue follows:

I use a couple of self-made .qch help files. They worked fine in all previous Qt Creator versions. I tried Qt Creator 2.0-beta and I can't locate topics in those external files from the locator popup anymore, despite the fact that those help files are installed, registered and are perfectly searchable from within the Help system. The screenshot illustrates this: while I can find 'HBufC' in the Help's Index pane, it is absent in the locator popup.

An example .qch file is attached to QTCREATORBUG-1360, so you'd have something to reproduce the problem with.
