Steps to reproduce / test case
Currently to use the selected code completion item one has to use the "Tab" key. I think that MSVC-like behavior, where any key not allowed to be used in identifiers (i.e. not a letter, digit or underscore), is more convenient.
For example, if there's an object "foo" with function "someCoolFunction()", the user can type "foo.s();" in MSVC to get "foo.someCoolFunction();", while in Qt Creator [s]he must type "foo.s<Tab>();" to get the same result.
