qmldesginer crashed on mac when app was running on simulator and tried to click for desginer view

qtsdkinstaller-online-x64-2011-09-16.dmg installed. Custom installed with all harmattan targets.

Steps:

Create a harmattan meego based app using template from qtcreator using File - New project - Qt quick application - Select app type to be qt quick app for meego ...

Follow the steps till end . Select simulator and harmattan targets to be deployed. Select simulator target and run the application.

Select for ex. mainpage.qml

Click on the designer button.

Expected outcome:
Preview of the components to be present.

Actual outcome:
Preview is not available and qtcreator crashed once when tried to open desinger.
