    Description

      When typing in the editor, characters of layer 3 of the Neo layout are ignored (they don't appear in the editing area when hit on the keyboard). This includes

      {, }

      , [, ], ; and several other characters important for writing source code. This makes qt creator basically useless for users with this keyboard layout under Windows.

      This bug already existed when I tried using QtCreator for the first time a long while ago, which is why I have selected multiple versions of QtCreator in the Affects Version/s box.

      Plz also note that I am using Neo for quite a while now and this is not a bug of the kbdneo driver, as I have never seen such behavior except for within QtCreator application.

      For those of you who don't know Neo, it's a keyboard layout optimized for writing German and English, as well as for programming. It makes over hundred additional characters accessible over 6 different layers, including but not limited to Greek and mathematical symbols. It also allows for fast access to important symbols like {}, by placing them (on layer 3) directly where one's fingers rest on the keyboard. For information on where the different keys are located, plz refer to: http://www.neo-layout.org/ and hover the "Ebenen" boxes.
