    Description

The bug tracking workflow often leads to lot of unnecessary clicking and waiting. It should be possible to move between issue states directly to save developer time.

For instance, if you're working on a bug (which is "In progress"), but then it turns out that the bug is invalid, you have to click through several workflow actions to go back to the reported state, where you can finally reject the bug.

Another example is if a bug has been actually fixed, but it is still marked as "reported" in JIRA. First you have to assign it to yourself, and then click through the whole workflow, which is very tedious.

It would be better to have a way to move between states directly and be able to edit at least the resolution while doing that. This might require adding a lot of new workflow actions - at least one new action per state. The target should be that you can always get a JIRA item up to date with a single workflow action.
