Long build failure logs can cause the browser to hang

If a change causes huge breakage, the error log appended can get very long and hang the browser (chrome). This affects also unrelated change that were tested in the batch.

Maybe only the tail of the log should be appended.

Also, the noise could be reduced by running make -s (or nmake /s) to build.
