    Description

      I have real problem with Qt Lingiust and xliff translation file with multiple <file> entries.

      For example, if you open next xliff file:

      <xliff version='1.2' xmlns='urn:oasis:names:tc:xliff:document:1.2'>
      <file original='first.txt' source-language='en' target-language='ru' datatype='plaintext'>
      <body>
      <trans-unit id="1" xml:space="preserve">
      <source xml:lang="en-us">First String</source>
      <target xml:lang="ru-ru"></target>
      </trans-unit>
      </body>
      </file>

      <file original='second.txt' source-language='en' target-language='ru' datatype='plaintext'>
      <body>
      <trans-unit id="1" xml:space="preserve">
      <source xml:lang="en-us">Second String</source>
      <target xml:lang="ru-ru"></target>
      </trans-unit>
      </body>
      </file>

      </xliff>

      you'll get "Duplicate messages found ..." message.

      I know that there are two <trans-unit> elements with identical id attribute, but they are included in different <file> elements, i.e. in different contexts.

      The presented above xliff is correctly formatted with appropriate to 1.2 standarts, but Qt Linguist does not process this xliff.

      Many of other xliff editors such as Virtaal, OmegaT, ... recognize this xliff file ideally.

      So is it possible to embed full support for xliff format ?
