qt 4.7.2 and qtcreator 2.1.0 from Qt SDK 1.1 beta; M$ Windows Vista 64 bit.
Description
to reproduce:
- select a project (on attached sshot - "spectrum" demo from qt 4.7.2)
- select as target desktop/debug
- click on "Run" (green arrow)
result:
- debug binary is build but creator tries to run a binary from "release" directory
See screenshot.
Note: this is really bad. In the attached screenshot I simply opened a new project so I got an error and nothing happened. BUT once I build a release binary, if then I select a debug target build and change the code and then choose "Run" then ... a new debug binary gets built, but ... the old release binary is run. It's really confusing not to see your changes It can easily lead to some time wasted, bogous bug reports here etc.
