This only occurs on a fresh pull of the entire git tree. (Updating older trees apparently leaves the file present at the searched location.)
To re-create:
(1) rm -rf your qt5 repo.
(2) follow instructons to create, init, and build a "developer-build" of qt5 (per http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Building_Qt_5_from_Git )
(3) note that qtjsbackend and qtdeclarative contain only .pro files (No Makefiles were created by running "configure"). BUG.
(4) run 'qmake -makefile qtjsbackend.pro' in qtjsbackend, then run 'make'. This builds and installs a developer build of v8.
(5) finally, run 'qmake -makefile qtdeclarative.pro' in qtdeclarative. Attempt to run 'make'. It will fail as shown.This only occurs on a fresh pull of the entire git tree.
