Description
Hi,
I'm running the default AudioInut sample from the Qt Examples package. I haven't changed any code! However, when running the example i see a noticeable in the red bar movement compared to when i actually hit mi microphone. For example, if i hit my microphone i see the red bar move in a very stuttering way (like it doesn't want to move) and about 0.3 seconds after i hit the microphone. The time is just a visual guess, could be slightly less but it certainly is noticeable.
I tried changing between push and pull, but that doesn't seem to differ much. Yes, it does differ slightly, but remains noticeable sluggish.
If i open the Spectrum Analyzer (also an example app) i see the same visual stuttering. However, the recorded sound does works just fine which leads me to think that there is something visually going wrong on the mac side.
Both examples work just fine on Linux and Windows and seem to be having a smoothly moving microphone level bar.
The microphone control from Mac in System Preferences -> Sound -> Input also has a microphone level indicator and that one is working just fine, without any visual lag.
I'm running on a mac with the versions provided in Qt SDK.
Other technical specs..
Qt Creator 2.4.1
Qt SDK 1.2.1
Qt Examples 1.1.0-2
All examples are compiled as x64 on all test platforms (mac, linux and windows)
Macbook Air, the generation before the recently released ones.
I gave about all the information i can think of..
If you need more information, please do ask.
Kind regards,
Mark
