QPixMap and QImage should accept the high dynamic range or float data types that go beyond 0 to 1.

For example it would be nice to be able to write a plug-in to support OpenEXR images. Just as useful would be to have the ability to capture the depth buffer from OpenGL, manipulate the data, and save it out to a 32bit float single channel image.
