5.2.1
-
Mac OS 10.9, iPad-3 target.
Description
Qt-5.2.1 for iOS delivered by qt-opensource-mac-x64-ios-5.2.1.dmg
wasn't compiled with run-time support for OpenSSL enabled at least
true for iphoneos (iPad-3) target configuration.
At the same time it seems to be working properly for simulators.
Thus, if somebody wants to add OpenSSL to a QT-application
for iOS this is not an option in contrast to Qt at Mac, Android, etc.
Workaround: compile by yourself.
Yet another issue is a lack of instructions or wiki on including
a 3-rd party library to a build else if the great Qt-iOS developers
will say that it's exactly the same as at other platforms i.e. Android
(it could be nice to have OpenSSL building instructions in a proxy page or link as well).
