Starting a Qt Quick App with syntax errors creates invisible background process

    Description

      How to reproduce:

      (1) Create new Qt Quick Application with Controls
      (2) Add any runtime bug to QML (e.g. top level item is not a window, or using undefined types etc...)
      (3) Run

      The application never shows a window (ok there is a syntax bug), but the application is also not closed. I have to quit the application manually using the task manager.

      This is very annoying.
