Description
Steps to reproduce this bug:
1. prepare the system: Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit on Dell Inspiron 5447 laptop
2. get qmlscene via apt[1]
3. plug-in an external monitor[2]
4. export QML_IMPORT_TRACE=1
4. launch a simple qml as the attachment, helloworld.qml by
qmlscene helloworld.qml
5. keep switching to different video modes by video-switch hotkey or the desktop indicator 'System settings-->Display' of Ubuntu Unity desktop,
until it is external-only or internal-only mode.
Expected result:
The helloworld window is always there.
Actual result:
The program crashed when the video mode came to external-only or internal-only mode. The helloworld window vanished. Core dumped.
Reproducing rate: 100%
