Regression: When typing preedit text using an input method, the cursor is at the beginning of the text, instead of the end

    Description

      This is a regression from Qt 4.5.

      It's visible at least on Linux and Symbian, so it's a crossplatform bug. To reproduce, launch wiggly on any of those platforms, with an input method active. Start typing into the lineedit, and you will see that the cursor stays at the beginning while typing.

      It causes embarassing situations like the one described in the original task text below.

      Original task text:
      ------------
      Open Wiggly.
      Set T9 active.
      Write down longish sentence.
      For example, "test if this works or if this is just rubbish"
      When "rubbish" is finished, look at the LineEdit.
      The whole word is not visible in the box, only parts of "r" are seen.
      ==> Very hard to see what the dictionary is suggesting.

      Tested on N79.
