Description

Qt does not install on a brand new MacBook Pro OS X 10.6 with most recent system updates. Package used:

qt-sdk-mac-opensource-2009.04.dmg

fails with message:

The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software
manufacturer for assistance.

5 days ago this same package installed smoothly on a 1-year old MacBook Pro OS X 10.5. The new Mac seems
to operate properly, nothing suspicious on both hardware and software sides.
