    Description

      I use rdesktop (on Ubuntu 13.10) to connect to a Windows 7 machine. I use the following options for rdesktop: rdesktop -5 -z -x l -a 32 -k de -g <win7 server>

After starting Qt creator on the remote desktop two issues occur:

      1. Welcome Screen is not rendered. This is just a minor issue and I do not need it to be fixed. See https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTCREATORBUG-10593 for more information.

      2. In addition to 1, the Qt creator is stuck in an endless loop. I am unable to use the GUI at all. Waiting for some minutes or restarting Qt designer does not help at all. I can confirm the behaviour for Qt creator 3.0.0 too. When switching back to Qt creator 2.8.1 everything works fine. But this version does not use OpenGL to render the Welcome Screen.

I hope the 2. issue can be solved. It really hampers our multi platform development.

      Thanks in advance,

      Hagen
