Localized french Visual C++ output not displayed correctly

I have selected the french translation when installing VisualC++ 2012 (and also for QtCreator) so it prints french output.

When compiling my projects within QtCreator french accentuated characters are badly displayed in the "Compile Output" and "Issues" panels.

There is no problem when compiling within Visual C++ or from the Windows command line. The problem appears within QtCreator which seems to not properly handle the console active page (chcp returns "850" on my system).
