Font magnification is forgotten when changing editor modes

    Description

Open a file in the editor, in "edit mode". Do Ctrl+plus or Ctrl+shift+mousewheelup to increase the font size, so it's magnified.

Press F5 to build&run your project. Qt Creator expectedly switches into "debug mode".

However, when it changes editor modes, the font magnification is forgotten. However, the tab character still has the same width as in the old magnified size. Furthermore, when doing Ctrl+plus from the forgotten-magnification-state, it magnifies one "click" after your correctly-magnified-state from before.

      See the video attached.

This occurs when Qt Creator is started using the "-stylesheet" option. In the case of mine, I set a background color for the QWebView. When this option is not used, the problem does not persist.

This affects all Qt Creator versions.
