Qt Quick toolbar: Color editor should be opened when user is inside a string with a color name or hex code

If you have a custom property such as,

property string myColor: "#ff00ff"

in your qml file, you probably want to be able to edit this color with the Qt Quick toolbar. Now it's not possible because the toolbar only recognizes standard color properties of e.g. Rectangle. It would be great to be able to trigger the editor for colors defined in this way, too.
