    Description

The application is flickering around. For example, if I point to on a menu item only this one can be read, the rest disappears. Something similar happens with the parts of the quickstart view, the one I am pointing on is most possible readable, maybe others too. If I move the mouse some things disappear and some come back, that is what I mean with flickering.

On the console I receive a lot of error messages:
      benediktibk@crub-gentoo ~ $ qtcreator -graphicssystem raster
QNativeImage: Unable to attach to shared memory segment.
QNativeImage: Unable to attach to shared memory segment.
X Error: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) 9
      Major opcode: 62 (X_CopyArea)
      Resource id: 0x0
X Error: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter) 9
      Major opcode: 62 (X_CopyArea)
      Resource id: 0x0
... (last message comes very often)

Tests of different options for -graphicssystem:
      raster: flickering
opengl: black window with no content (glxgears works)
      native: everything is fine

The flickering with the default value for graphicssystem occurs on two different machines, one has an Intel chipset 4 integrated graphics controller, the other one a Nvidia 8800GTX.
