While using code snippets' variables, code autocomplete works only in the place that we type not in other occurences of the same name

When one use the code snippet's variable for instance $type$ and then place it in more than one place in the code then when one try to type in the name of $type$ the changes will affect the remaining occurrences of $type$. But when you try to autocomplete the name (or type) in the place of $type$ then this name won't be placed in other places in the code where it is located.
