Description
Using the Qt Mingw 4.8.2 libraries with the Mingw 440 provided with 4.8.2.
Create a new project from the "Qt Gui application" template.
Build and then run the debugger.
After a 5 to 10 seconds a message box will pop up with "The GDB process crashed".
If I run gdb from the command line there is no problem. I then downloaded the latest Mingw and used it's GDB, it worked fine. I was able to debug through qt creator.
I'm guessing Qt Creator now has a requirement for a later version of GDB. If support can't be added for 4.4.0 then Qt should not be providing a Mingw that is incompatible with Qt Creator. Or it should at least check the Mingw version and notify that the GDB isn't supported. Attached are the debugger logs.
