shared library custom gdb debugger for POSIX shell script text executable (libtool script)

My error as per "debugger log" is dERROR WHILE READING ELF SECTIONS: '/Users/rajeevjain/meshkit/test/algs/test_postbl' is not an ELF object:
BUG IN CREATOR: My guess is it shouldn't examine this file, because i'm using my script and not gdb, my script is:
#!/bin/bash
exec ../../libtool --mode=execute /usr/bin/gdb "$@"

This is on a mac osx, let me know if there is a fix for this:
This script should be able to load my executable: POSIX shell script text executable. It works on the terminal. Let me know if you need more info
