Description
When when I split an editor window and delete some lines at the beginning of the file in one window then the other window (showing e.g. the midth of the file) stays at the same line numbers which of course now show other content; can I change the behaviour so that the line numbers are changed so that the shown file content stays? like vim does?
Further clarification:
If I split an editor window (being somewhere in the midth of the file) two windows then show up: "active" and "inactive" one; going to the top of "active" and deleting some lines there changes the viewport of "inactive"; the line numbers shown in "inactive" stay the same.
As stated above it would be better/an option to not have the viewport contents change - only have line numbers adjusted.
Acc. to eike this is normal/current behaviour although not nice.
